Egg Carton Flowers

There still may be snow outside, but you can still have pick some flowers before Easter. Decorate the room with beautiful flowers that will never wilt. Add pom poms and other creativity decor for this fun activity.

Egg Carton Flowers:

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Acrylic Paint
• Egg Carton (not foam)
• Paper Straw
• Pom Poms
• Scissors
• Glue
• Paint Brush

Directions:
First you’ll need an adult cut out four containers out of the egg carton. Trim around the edges so that it gives it a shape for the petals of the flower.

Place different kinds of acrylic paint colors onto a paper plate like we did below. Have the kids paint their flowers and not each other.

After the paint’s dried you can attach the stem of the flower by gluing it to the back. We used a paper straw so that it was thick enough to hold up the egg carton, if you use something like a pipe cleaner it will just bend.

Next choose a colored pom pom and glue that to the center of the painted egg carton.
