Are you unsure about what to do during the summer that is fun? Then look no further! On July 12th, it is national Teddy Bear Picnic Day, and we came up with a perfect checklist to ensure that your picnic goes off without a hitch!
The first thing on the checklist is making sure that you have a parent or guardian with you on this picnic adventure. Once you have that sorted out, the next task is the hardest one: picking which teddy bear to bring to the picnic. You don’t need to only bring one teddy bear, but unfortunately not every single teddy bear you own can go all at once. This just means that you get to go on more picnics with your friends!
Once you have figured out which teddy bear to bring, plan your picnic destination and time. This will be helpful to ensure that you don’t get washed out, and may change your choice of which stuffed animal to bring along. After getting through those tasks, the next thing is to create a list of things you want to bring. A few helpful things to think of is: are you there to solely have a picnic, is there going to be food at the picnic, do you have the proper things packed to protect yourself if you are in the sun? Having these things thought out in advance will make your picnic easy and carefree!
When you have finally come upon the day of your adventure, before leaving, make sure to do a last minute check on the weather as well as with anything you may need (don’t forget the picnic blanket)! Once you have settled down and having a great picnic, don’t forget about your teddy bear. Bring a book, or make up a story on your own and tell the Teddy Bear about it! Don’t forget when you leave to clean up your area and to leave the place how you found it!
