Lil’ Iguana says, “If you don’t have permission, run away!” This easy treat is a great reminder how much fun it is to take a buddy with you. This fun snack is a great reminder to Run, Run, Run, Yell & Tell if a stranger tries to get you to go with them and you don’t have permission. While making these snacks, parents and educators should talk to their children about the lesson Run, Run, Run, Yell & Tell and the importance of telling an adult you trust right away if a stranger ever tries to get you to go with them and you don’t have permission.
INGREDIENTS
Ice cream Sugar Cones
Cream Cheese
Butter
Confectionery Sugar
Vanilla Extra
Food Coloring
DIRECTIONS
Step 1 :
Beat softened butter & cream cheese together until smooth.
Step 2 :
Add powdered sugar and vanilla, and mix well.
Step 3 :
Split frosting into multiple bowls to make different colors. Save some white frosting as a base coating.
Step 4 :
Add food coloring drops into each bowl and mix colors until smooth.
Step 5 :
Carefully, cut tip off a sugar cone.
Step 6 :
Ensure the opening is large enough for a small straw to fit in to use later for decoration.
Step 7 :
Place a base layer of frosting on outside of cone. Let sit… Chill if needed.
Step 8 :
Place colored frosting in piping bags. We are using a plastic zip bag.
Step 9 :
Cut off the tip.
Step 10 :
Pipe top and bottom for decoration.
Step 11 :
Carefully write, “run” on one side of the cone. You can use a reusable straw or another wooden tool to hold the cone to make decorating easier.
Step 12 :
Next, write, “yell” on one side of the cone.
Step 13 :
Last write, “tell” on one side of the cone.
Step 14 :
Add various colors for decoration.
Step 15 :
