It is important to never share information about yourself like your name, age, where you go to school, or where you live. If you are talking to someone online and they make you feel uncomfortable or if you see something and your Harm Alarm goes off, you need to tell an adult in charge.  When online, you should:

THINK: Always think before posting or sharing information online.

BE NICE: Always be kind to other online.  Don’t be a bully.

FRIENDS: Only talk to friends and people you know online.

SECRETS: Never keep a secret about who you are talking to online.

TELL: Tell an adult in charge if your Harm Alarm goes off.

Lil’ Iguana says, “Never agree to meet someone or give them your information!”  It is important to know if you are talking to someone online and they make you feel uncomfortable or if you see something and your Harm Alarm goes off, you need to tell an adult in charge.  With this craft, kids will be able to think about the rules to follow while playing online, texting, or downloading.  Parents/guardians and educators should have a conversation about what are safe ways to have fun online.
